Laundry...it never ends!

You have enough to do without spending a lot of time hovering over a washing machine...or having to haul clothes to and from the laundromat. For many people, doing laundry is probably the least favorite of all things that need to be done. It's one of those tasks that never ends...no matter how much you wash, there is always more! Let us free some time by doing your laundry.

Convenience & Quality...

Our laundry service offers both convenience and quality. We pick up, wash, dry, fold, and return your laundry. No need to sort...we do that for you! Our service is great for college students, busy individuals, workers staying in Lynchburg for contracted jobs, and extended-stay hotel guests.

We use name-brand, quality detergents and softeners only. We do not use inferior generic products. All employees wear latex gloves while handling laundry...no contact with your clothes.

Want some of your clothes hung instead of folded? No problem...simply include hangers with your laundry at pick up! We'll make sure your dress pants, dresses, and dress shirts/blouses take priority when using your hangers...then, if any hangers are left, we'll hang the more casual items, such as jeans and other shirts until remaining hangers are used up.

How it works...

It's simple. After setting up your account, you have access to your Laundry Switchboard. When ready, schedule service from your switchboard by clicking the "Request Pick-up" button. When your request is made, a representative will contact you to confirm the order...or simply call us at 1-866-506-0132. We pick up laundry Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Return delivery is based on the service option you choose (Standard 2-Day, Next-Day, Same-Day, or Weekend Service). On each pick up, we give you another fresh laundry bag.

All laundry must be contained in one of our bags. We do not pick up laundry in baskets, or any other bags. For first-time users, there is a one-time fee of $6.00 for first bag. This fee must be paid, and the bag delivered to you, before service can begin.

We have a 1-bag maximum for each pick up. This service is designed with individuals or couples in mind. If you are a family of 3 or more, and tend to have larger laundry needs, you will probably need to make additional service requests for each day we do pick-ups (Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays).

We offer a flat, no-nonsense rate for our laundry service...whatever you can fit into one of our laundry bags! No charging by weight and all that stuff...you know exactly what it's going to cost. We offer various levels of service to fit your need and budget!

Weekend Wash Service - $14.99
We pick up your wash on Friday...we return it on Monday.

Standard 2-Day Service - $19.99
We pick up your wash on Monday...we return it on Wednesday.
We pick up your wash on Wednesday...we return it on Friday.
This option is not available for Friday pick-up.

Next-Day Service - $24.99
We pick up your wash on Monday...we return it on Tuesday.
We pick up your wash on Wednesday...we return it on Thursday.
We pick up your wash on Friday...we return it on Saturday.

Same-Day Service - $29.99
We pick up your wash on Monday, Wednesday or Friday...we return it the same day.
Pick-up must be scheduled before 10am.

For first-time users, there is a one-time fee of $6.00 for the first laundry bag. We pick-up laundry in our bags only. At each pick-up, we leave another fresh bag.

Limitations...

We are a wash and fold service...we are not a dry cleaner service. If certain stains cannot be removed by a basic wash cycle, you will probably need to send that garment to the dry cleaners...or you can pre-treat the stain before we pick up your laundry, in hopes that it will come out. We cannot guarantee removal of stains.

Terms & Conditions...

• Gopher Delivery & Errands LLC is not responsible for clothing items that bleeds, shrinks, or otherwise changes as a result of normal washing.

• Gopher Delivery & Errands LLC is not responsible for lost articles unless proven that we were responsible for the loss. Remember to complete the inventory form during every laundry pickup.

• Gopher Delivery & Errands LLC is not responsible for items labeled "hand wash only" or "dry clean only" and is not responsible for checking for these labels in client's clothing items. Please check before Gopher Delivery & Errands, LLC picks them up.

• Gopher Delivery & Errands LLC is not responsible for items not placed in the Gopher Delivery & Errands, LLC's Laundry bags upon pick-up.

• The bag deposit will be refunded only if the bag given to the client is returned. Lost or damaged bags will result in forfeiting the bag deposit.

• Gopher Delivery & Errands LLC is not responsible for loss of or damage to any personal or non-cleanable items left in the clothing or bags such as money, jewelry, or anything else. Client agrees not to leave such items in its clothing or in the delivery bags. We do a quick check, and if we find anything, it will be placed in an envelope and delivered with your laundry.

• Gopher Delivery & Errands LLC is not responsible for any loss, damage or theft of items left unattended for pick up-or drop-off by the client. Gopher Delivery & Errands, LLC will not leave any bags unattended. All bags of clean garments must be signed for by client or an authorized person.

• Gopher Delivery & Errands LLC reserves the right to refuse cleaning any item.

• Gopher Delivery & Errands LLC does not guarantee removal of all stains.

• If loss or damage, is determined to be an undisputed fault of Gopher Delivery & Errands LLC, and at it's sole discretion to do so, reimbursement will be made to clients in an amount to be determined by Gopher Delivery & Errands LLC - this amount cannot exceed $20.00 per item or $100.00 per load of laundry. Clients must notify Gopher Delivery & Errands LLC within 3 business days of receipt of a delivery of any lost or damaged items from that particular delivery, failure to do so constitutes waiver of a claim for any lost or damaged items from that delivery.

Why is there a 1-bag limit per pick up?

Our service is designed mainly for individuals and couples. Our bags hold roughly 25-30 pounds of laundry, which is more than enough for the average weekly weight. We set this limit to discourage people from building up a few weeks of clothing, and then piling them on us. Also, a single bag of laundry ensures no mix-ups. If an individual needs more than 1 bag of laundry done within a week, he or she can request additional service for each day we do pick-ups (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays)

How is my laundry handled?

After we have picked up your laundry in the bag we provide you, we will separate your whites, lights, and darks. Any delicates or special requests will be washed separately according to the instructions you provide or the care label on the tag. We’ll then dry, fold, and return your clothes to your door wrinkle free and smelling fresh.

Do I have to sort my clothes?

No. We will sort everything for you; however, we do ask that you check your pockets, as we are not responsible for damage done by pens, lipstick, gum, makeup, or other items left in pockets. We check them as well, but sometimes things are missed. Anything we find in pockets will be put in an envelope and sent back with the laundry.

Can I have my clothes hung instead of folded?

Yes...and at no extra charge! Simply include hangers with your laundry at pick up! Will my clothes be soft and smell fresh?

Yes. We use only top, name-brand detergents and softeners (Tide, Gain, etc.). This ensures high-quality results. We use liquid softener in every wash cycle and fabric softener sheets in every dryer.

Can you remove tough stains?

We are a wash and fold service...we are not dry cleaners. We do basic washing, much like you would do at home or at the laundromat. Stains that cannot be removed by a basic wash cycle should be sent to the dry cleaners, or you can pre-treat the stain before we pick up your laundry. We cannot guarantee removal of stains.

Are my clothes mixed with other people's clothes?

Absolutely not! Not only is this a hygene issue, it has the potential to cause a lot of problems in trying to keep everyone's clothes separate. Besides, we use normal-size washing machines. A load of darks belonging to someone else would not fit with your load of darks.

What if I don't like other people touching my clothes?

We understand...and to be quite honest with you, it isn't the height of our day to touch other peoples' clothes, either. Our employees wear latex gloves when washing. This keeps us from coming in contact with your clothes...keeping both you and our employees happy!

What if I have something that requires special washing instructions?

We can handle special washing instructions...within limits. Separate the garment in a small bag (a grocery bag, for example) with a note...place this your main laundry bag. Also, do this for new clothes that have never been washed before. If we find something that we do not feel that we can wash, we will contact you.

What if I find something damaged?

Before washing, we inspect each piece for pre-existing damage. If we find anything, we contact you before washing. If it is determined that we damaged clothing, we take responsibility. We do not use outside sources for washing, so you are dealing directly with us. Any compensation for damages is handled quickly and painlessly. However, there are conditions where we do not claim liability (see "Terms & Conditions").

What if I find something missing?

This is where your inventory sheet comes in. Before washing, we count pieces based on your inventory sheet. If there is a difference, we contact you before washing. Inventory sheets take about 5 minutes to complete. We do not ask for specifics, just a general number of pants, shirts, pairs of socks, etc., to give us a good idea of what you have. If it is determined that we lost clothing, we take responsibility. We do not use outside sources for washing, so you are dealing directly with us. Any compensation for missing clothes is handled quickly and painlessly. However, there are conditions where we do not claim liability.

How do I discontinue service?

Simply do not request any future pick-ups. If you have laundry that is currently being processed, and you know that it will be the last order request, let us know...we'll subtract the bag deposit from the total. If you do not have laundry currently being processed, and you no longer need our service, also let us know...a delivery representative will return the bag deposit directly to you, and collect the last bag you received.
