Student Storage Information

Convenience...

It's stressful to go through exams, and also worry about what you're going to do about your stuff. Worry no more...we are your one-stop storage solution:

      WE pick up your belongings

WE store them during the summer

WE bring them back when you return

Convenience to both students and parents! No cramming cars...no trying to find a storage unit...no renting a truck or trailer. In fact, parents don't even have to make a special trip to your school. We handle everything! All that a student has to worry about is getting home!

**We service primarily DORM STUDENTS. We do not store mattesses, box springs, or sofas.

Safe & Secure...

Your belongings are stored in secure, climate-controlled units. Need access to your belongings during the summer? Just call us...we'll meet you, so that you can retrieve the items you need.

Flat-Rate Pricing on Services...

We offer flat-rate pricing, based on the number of items to be stored or transported

Storage Services: The price includes pick-up, storage for the summer, and return delivery. When you return, no additional payment is required.

Deposit: There is a $50 deposit to reserve your space, with the balance due at pick-up.

Free Boxes: To receive your 5 free boxes, you must schedule service, and pay the deposit, by April 26th. We deliver the boxes to your dorm the Saturday or Sunday before the leaving date! This offer is NOT available to Category 1 Storage orders (5 items or less).

Transport Services: You may already have a storage unit, but no way of getting your stuff there. We provide a driver and a van...no need to make multiple trips with your small car! Available to Lynchburg colleges and universities only.

Terms & Conditions

Liability...

We do everything we can to ensure the safety of your belongings...at pick-up, during storage, and on return. However, upon certain events, we limit our liability based opon the following:

Acts of God: We are not responsible for loss of property due to floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, or tornadoes.

Liquids: We are not responsible for damage from leakage due to packed liquids.

Glass Items: We are not responsible for damage to glass due to improper packing. If we hear the contents of a box "clink" when handling, we reserve the right to refuse storage until it is corrected.

Computers: Store at your own risk. If you must store your computer, pack it VERY well!

Disputes: At pick-up, the student is given a copy of the inventory sheet of stored items. Upon payment, the student has agreed that the inventory sheet is accurate. All items are accounted for at time of drop-off, matched to the inventory sheet, to ensure no item count disputes. Any claims due to adverse conditions of items must be submitted within 10 days of drop-off...no exceptions.

Required...

All non-furniture items must be packed in ENCLOSED AND SEALED boxes, bags, totes, or suitcases. We cannot accept open containers with piles of stuff in them...this is just a disaster waiting to happen.

All containers must be labeled with at least your name and contact phone during the summer. If you know the dorm or address that you will be returning to, it is also a good idea to include that information as well.

Suggestions...

COMPUTERS: Store at your own risk. Due to the fragile nature of computers, it is advised that you take them home with you. Besides, all your important stuff is on it...you'll need it at home anyway!

LIQUIDS: This is an obvious one. Liquids have the tendency to leak from containers, ruining anything packed with it. Pack separately, preferably in a plastic container, such as a tote.

FLOOR LAMPS: Obviously, your floor lamp will not fit in a box...but the globe/shades and light bulbs can. It is a good idea to remove all globes/shades and light bulbs for storing. These can be wrapped and placed in one of your boxes.
